Inside a three-day shoot
A full wedding deployment is closer to a small film unit than most people expect.
Day one
Two photographers and one cinematographer arrive before the family is awake. The rest of the unit is loading.
Day two
Peak deployment. Eight to twelve people across two locations, with a runner moving cards back to the studio every four hours.
Day three
The quietest and often the best day. Fewer cameras, more time.
